Artist Statement
Art is my way to embrace life especially when I cannot make sense out of it.
I pour and throw my paint on the canvas. It takes 3 days to dry.
I absorb and digest the process, all ugliness, all beauty.
While drying, the painting keeps on changing. During the process I keep going back to the canvas. I absorb and digest the process, all ugliness, all beauty. The process is beautiful, but also confusing.
Then I paint. Until I find acceptance, love and light.
It is not just flowers I paint.
It is complexity, pain, confusion, struggle, acceptance, peace, love, strength, beauty, simplicity, healing. And I want to make everything beautiful.
